Bout of Books 26
It's time for another reading event. Yay! My goal for Bout of Books is always 1000 pages, but I'm not likely to get there this time around - just too many other things going on this week. However, it will be fun to participate even if I only make it to 100 pages (although seriously, I hope I can do better than that). 😉 Here's the blurb from their website:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 19th and runs through Sunday, August 25th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, Twitter chats, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 26 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team
I'll be focusing on finishing the 4 books I have in progress:
1776 by David McCullough
A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers
Murder in Mesopotamia by Agatha Christie
The PreHistory of The Far Side by Gary Larson

Opening Survey
1)What fine part of the world are you reading from today? And what time is it where you are? I'm in Utah, and starting at 6:00 p.m.
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? I've heard great things about Daisy Jones & the Six.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? Popcorn - and I might have to indulge in some ice cream tomorrow.
4) Do you have a #reversereadathon plan of attack? This is my first #reversereadathon, so I'll have to strategically plan my sleeping tonight in order to read all day tomorrow!
5) Are you doing the readathon solo or with others? It's just me but I don't feel alone with all my fellow readers around the world (especially on Goodreads).
