 The Bout of Books readathon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It’s a weeklong readathon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 4th and runs through Sunday, January 10th in YOUR time zone. Bout of Books is low-pressure. I didn't finish a book for the first time ever, but I really had fun jumping around!

My results always seem to be about the same, so I think I have a good mix of reading/audio/social media/other breaks. Can't wait to do it again!

I got a bit of a second wind. I think really getting into my books is helping me forget temporarily about the pandemic, the election - ugh. Hopefully, I can tear through some pages this evening! (It's probably not a good idea for me to be reading The Plot Against America at the moment - it's eerily prophetic.)

I'm struggling with the Readathon so far, because I'm tired (didn't sleep well last night) and just feel generally 'blah'. I'm going to take it easy on myself - take lots of breaks and not expect stellar results.
