Hours 1, 2 and 3

Ugh - I can't believe 3 hours are gone already.  I haven't done enough reading!  I have done some cheering already, however, which I did not intend to do until later in the day.  The new cheerleading setup makes it so easy, I could happily sit and visit blogs all day long.  Must control myself, as I want to get a chunk of reading done as well.  What with breakfast, blog visiting, and walking the dog (where I tried to listen to an audiobook, but kept running into other dog owners who I had to warn about the guy in the park yesterday who had a gun and threatened to shoot my dog if she came near his child - sorry, I digress...), here's my progress so far:

A Week in Winter by Maeve Binchy - 46 pages

Running total, hours - 45 min reading, 15 min listening to audio

Have to go to a meeting in about 20 minutes, and probably won't be back for about 4 hours :(  I am taking public transportation into town, however so will have my Kindle along.  See you all a bit later!

  1. I know the first few hrs go by so quickly don't they?
    Glad you are doing well!

  2. Yeah, life keeps getting in the way of my reading today as well. . .but it sure is fun what I am getting done. Hope you get the opportunity to get some good reading time in!

  3. I'm so glad to see you're tackling a Maeve Binchy, I think her work is lovely. You do just as much or as little reading as you like, we'll cheer you on regardless! XOXO, Team Butler

  4. Hi RAT Buddy!!! Hope you'll be home soon, with your feet up and a book in your hand. Maeve Binchy is a comfort author for me, maybe I'll grab one of hers off of my shelf and try to shoehorn it in!

  5. I am loving the new cheering organization, too. It's so satisfying to write my initials in the little box!

I'm here to cheer you. It sounds like you're off to a great start! I hope the public transportation proves a great reading venue (I love reading on trains).

    Have a great day!
