Hours 1, 2 and 3

Ugh - I can't believe 3 hours are gone already.  I haven't done enough reading!  I have done some cheering already, however, which I did not intend to do until later in the day.  The new cheerleading setup makes it so easy, I could happily sit and visit blogs all day long.  Must control myself, as I want to get a chunk of reading done as well.  What with breakfast, blog visiting, and walking the dog (where I tried to listen to an audiobook, but kept running into other dog owners who I had to warn about the guy in the park yesterday who had a gun and threatened to shoot my dog if she came near his child - sorry, I digress...), here's my progress so far:

A Week in Winter by Maeve Binchy - 46 pages

Running total, hours - 45 min reading, 15 min listening to audio

Have to go to a meeting in about 20 minutes, and probably won't be back for about 4 hours :(  I am taking public transportation into town, however so will have my Kindle along.  See you all a bit later!

  4. Hi RAT Buddy!!! Hope you'll be home soon, with your feet up and a book in your hand. Maeve Binchy is a comfort author for me, maybe I'll grab one of hers off of my shelf and try to shoehorn it in!

  5. I am loving the new cheering organization, too. It's so satisfying to write my initials in the little box!

I'm here to cheer you. It sounds like you're off to a great start! I hope the public transportation proves a great reading venue (I love reading on trains).

    Have a great day!
