Dewey's Readathon 10/22/22
Getting ready for the next Dewey's 24-hour readathon! I won't be able to participate 100% (turns out our daughter will be in town), but I'll certainly turn some pages. 😄 Here's my tentative stack:
Brida - Paulo Coelho
The Hours - Michael Cunningham

Bout of Books 35 TBR, etc.
I'm excited for Bout of Books next week. I have about 11 traveling hours Tuesday, so I'm hoping to get in lots of reading hours then. I don't really enjoy watching movies on those small plane screens, so that makes reading an easier choice. 📚😃As of Wednesday I am in semi-vacation mode, and what better way to spend leisure time than attacking the old TBR with gusto?! I will update with my BoB TBR tomorrow. It should be pretty easy to figure out, as I have several books in progress. I'll be mostly reading on my Kindle, with a few audiobooks.
8/14 - The "Stack" (no photo because most of these are on Kindle):

Wrapup
Well, that was a successful readathon for me! For the first time EVER in all the years I've been doing these, I read some from every single book in my stack - and finished two. Complete stats:
Hours 13-18
Hours 7 - 12
Mid Event Survey
4) Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those? The only interruption was getting sleepy!
5) What surprises you most about the readathon, so far? I'm always surprised at how fast the time goes.
Hours 1-6
Opening Survey
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
Whatever I decide will be my sweet treat tomorrow!
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
When I'm not reading, I can often be found watching sports.
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today?

Personal Readathon 4/23/22
It turns out I am alone again for a day and a half this weekend, without any important commitments! So...since it's just a week until the official Dewey's Readathon (in which I am not able to participate), I'm going to have another Personal RAT. Yay! My stack includes a few leftovers from the last one a few weeks ago:

Hours 25 - 48
Sunday, April 10, 2022
Hours 18 - 24

Personal Readathon April 9,2022
I am sad about missing the next Dewey's Readathon on April 30th (I will be traveling), so I decided to have a personal RAT this Saturday! It won't be the same without the 'community', but I need a day for nothing but me and my books. The hubs is out of town, and I've worked extra hard this week prepping for carpet cleaning - so I deserve it!

Bout of Books 33
Just got back from traveling, but I'm ready to start the new year off right with a week of reading as much as possible! As always, my goal will be 1,000 pages. From the website:
